About Orchard Project

Orchard Project is a community-driven effort launched in May 2025 by bauhinia with its main goal being prevention of child sexual abuse (CSA) in online spaces.

The main scopes of operation is collaboration with community managers and whole communities in order to work out solutions to preventing sexual abuse, rather than applying reactive measures.

As of now we operate on a non-professional manner. While the main goal is to start working with organizations and authorities who have more tools to assist in prevention of CSA and online grooming, we are not the law enforcement or experts and as such we are unable to help in those areas.

We recognize that more often than not, measures taken to prevent CSA tend to carry discriminatory and rather unhelpful biases and harm entire communities in the process. Orchard Project aims to challenge the biases, and put the wellbeing of victims and communities as utmost priority.
